Infinite scrolling cheapens both words and images, their meaning lost. Cathexis Webzine stands in opposition. We believe these things are meaningful. We believe in intellectual exchange divorced from the dopamine treadmill of likes and shares. We believe in art, beauty, and obsession. Finally, to quote the late, great J.G. Ballard, we believe in the death of the emotions and the triumph of the imagination! In this, our debut issue, you will find three interviews featuring art, photos, and graphic design and one poem.
